Governance of ESAI

The El Salvador Aerospace Institute - ESAI, is an Organization created according with the Salvadoran Laws and is fully recognized under a Ministerial Agreement. The fundamental base of our origin also included in the Bylaws of ESAI. The Bylaws of ESAI grant us, the Maximum Authority to conduct National & International R&D+I activities worldwide.

The regulations of ESAI are fundamentally included in the Ministerial Agreement approved by the Government of El Salvador and the Bylaws of our Organization which acts as a native PRINCIPLE of collective AGREEMENTS.

The Bylaws regulations focus but are not limited to:

Chapter I

Article I

  • Name:

    INSTITUTO AEROESPACIAL DE EL SALVADOR/ EL SALVADOR AEROSPACE INSTITUTE

Article II

  • Principal Address:

    The address of the Institute shall be in El Salvador, being able to establish branches throughout the territory of the Republic of El Salvador and outside the country.

Article III

  • Period of Activities:

    The ESAI Organization is established indefinitely.

Chapter II

Main Purpose of Activities:

Mission: Obtain the capacity to develop and use aerospace assets to contribute into the National Economy of the Republic of El Salvador and improve the quality of life of its inhabitants.

Article VI

Vision: To Research, Develop and Innovate through a fundamental, unique and distinctive knowledge in specific areas of aerospace science and engineering in order to create aerospace assets capable of solving our nation's own problems and, in turn, to acquire global competitiveness to guarantee self-sustainability.
