The United Nations, through its Program: Space Applications, executed by the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) and the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), held from October 22 to 24, 2021 the International Congress called: "Space Exploration: a Source of Inspiration, Innovation and Discovery".

This event consisted of Case Studies on Space Technology and its socioeconomic benefits. The El Salvador Aerospace Institute - ESAI, exposed in the said congress, the need to adopt new technologies in the Salvadoran academy as well as in the industry that help generate opportunities and development in support of growth, promotion, sustainability and socioeconomic governance in El Salvador.
