ESAI - TMA BLUE TECH: Space Applications and the Blue Economy

El Salvador Aerospace Institute (ESAI), has been selected to participate and partner with the Blue Tech Cluster Organizations which is a TMA and one of the largest in the world. The key focus areas is Space Applications, specifically the intersection between TMA Blue Tech (ocean and water technology) and Space (earth observation).

The opportunity for ESAI is to partner and collaborate with global leaders which this time will have Industry, Academia and Government entities in attendance. While the mean reason to approach ESAI and TMA is to discuss the potential development in Central America through the support of The Blue Economy which consider the region as large, growing and getting into a global collaborative business model.

The innovative Blue Tech for SMEs is created with the aim to help and expand this sector as they offer solutions to global problems. The goal of this partnership participation for ESAI is to connect exciting TMA Blue Tech SMEs to the array of contacts they need to successfully expand internationally - investors, management, and academic, channel, distribution, Joint Venture, services and technology partners.

TMA Blue Tech is the member-based organizer of a leading Blue Tech cluster in the U.S. and one of the largest in the world. The company organized, regional Blue Tech clusters (“Think global, act regional”) are the best way to explore and protect ocean and water resources. Blue Tech companies create the technology to understand problems and develop solutions to address them. The initiative implies education, policy and technology resources together to promote innovation and economic development in the Blue Economy. The creation of a strong “Blue Voice” via unique events, information sharing, national and international outreach, networking, research, and workforce development.
